Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Managing the interchange of data between the server and the users
2. Maintaining and enhancing existing websites while adhering to best practices and development of all server-side logic, APIs, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end
3. Interacting with front-end developers to create API to the backend side
4. Integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application

1. Building back-end API using Node.js and Express.js
2. Building reusable and clean code
3. Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
4. Building REST API
5. Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability with DB optimization and better data structure
7. Understanding code versioning tools, such as Git
8. Working with front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
